Samsung Galaxy Screen Replacement Guide

Samsung Galaxy phones feature some of the most vibrant displays on the market. Replacing them requires specific expertise due to the curved edges and integrated fingerprint sensors.

What to Expect

A Samsung screen replacement typically involves removing the back glass and transferring internal components. It's a delicate process best left to professionals.

Why Galaxy screens cost more to replace

Almost every current Galaxy — the A15, A25, A35, M-series, and the S flagships — uses a Super AMOLED panel, and on these phones the glass and the display are bonded into one module. That means a cracked Galaxy screen is a full module swap, not a cheap "glass only" job, which is why a Samsung repair costs more than an equivalent LCD phone. The curved-edge S-series and the in-display fingerprint sensor add further labour, because the sensor has to be recalibrated after the panel is fitted.

Here is what a Galaxy display module typically costs at our Boring Road counter. An original AMOLED keeps true blacks, full sunlight brightness, and Always-On Display; a cheaper TFT copy looks dim and usually breaks Always-On.

ModelOriginal AMOLEDAftermarket TFT
Galaxy A15 / A25Rs 5,500 – Rs 9,000Rs 3,500 – Rs 5,000
Galaxy A35 / M-seriesRs 6,000 – Rs 10,000Rs 4,000 – Rs 5,500
Galaxy S-seriesRs 9,000 – Rs 22,000+not recommended

We quote both options and never pass a TFT off as an original. If your Galaxy is over three years old with a weak battery too, we will tell you honestly when an upgrade beats the repair.
